Professor William Campos

7th degree black belT

Professor Campos is the lead instructor of Campos Kenpo Karate. He has over 25 years of experience teaching karate the art of Shaolin Kenpo. He received his black belt in 1992 from Great Grandmaster Ralph Castro and became a certified martial arts instructor in 1994 by the American Teachers Association of Martial Arts. Professor Campos has been a competition champion in point sparring, kata, and in kickboxing.

Ms. Sofia Campos

1st degree black belt, 2017

Ms. Campos has studied Shaolin Kenpo alongside her father, Professor Campos, since she was 5 years old. In addition to karate, she practices wushu. She was promoted to black belt in December 2017 following years of her dedication to the art and was the first Campos Karate student to be promoted to black belt. Ms. Campos is an avid competitor. This year (2019), Ms. Campos is starting high school.

Professor Moe Lama

7th degree black belt

Professor Lama has over 25 years of experience teaching Shaolin Kenpo. In 1986, he opened up his own school in San Francisco. Professor Lama visits and teaches at Campos Karate as well.

Sifu Edie Espejo

3rd degree black belt, 2018

Sifu Espejo is an assistant instructor. She was promoted to black belt in 2011 by GGM Ralph Castro. She joined Campos Karate in 2017 after graduating from college. She was promoted to third degree black belt by Professors Campos and Lama in 2018, and she is incredibly proud to be part of this karate school.

Mr. Sean Tracy

1st degree black belt, 2019

Mr. Tracy has been training at Campos Karate since he was 7 years old and is one of the school's first students. Mr. Tracy competes in competitions for kata and sparring. Aside from karate, he plays volleyball and is part of his high school's symphonic band.

Mr. Kyle Binns

1st degree black belt, 2019

Mr. Binns was promoted to black belt in December 2019 and is Campos Karate's newest black belt. He started karate when he was 5 years old and has been a competitive martial artist for all those years. In his free time, he loves hanging out with his dogs and playing video games.
